DEED 3D is the largest platinum partner of  ” Stratasys ”  in Asia, with more than 17 years of leading 3D printing technology and services.

As the world stabilizes, people are gradually returning to their normal routines. With the increasing focus on low-carbon living, shared transportation has become the go-to option for many people. In Portugal, a leading supplier of urban vehicle parts turned to DEED3D to produce several prototypes for verification within a week. These prototypes included a chair measuring 72 x 60 x 40cm, soft touch buttons, seat belts, a sports water cup, and more. To meet the testing requirements for the various materials used in large structural parts and other components of the vehicle, the traditional processing method would have taken a long time and may not have met all the required material and effect specifications. Fortunately, DEED3D’s 3D printing process and the option to use up to 30 different materials allowed for rapid prototyping to meet the customer’s needs and requirements in a timely manner.   For the 200kg prototype chair, DEED3D used ABS-M30 material and printed it in one piece with a Stratasys F900 printer. The chair was then embellished with matte gray spray paint, which maintained a reasonable tolerance range even after painting. The chair successfully passed the bearing and assembly tests and was unanimously approved by the customer’s R&D team. The soft touch buttons and seat belts were printed with a Stratasys Polyjet J750 light-curing 3D printer, using Agilus rubber-like material. The appropriate hardness level was selected from Shore hardness (30-90 degrees) to meet the prototype requirements of the parts. The material also allowed for the selection of colors based on the CMYK color value, resulting in translucent buttons without the need for painting, ensuring button transparency.

Nylon12 material was selected for the bottom plate, which is a key bearing part of the vehicle. The material is tough and highly impact-resistant, allowing it to recover its deformation immediately after being greatly impacted.

Digital ABS material was used for gear and thread details. The material’s strength performance is equivalent to ABS-M30, and the accuracy is improved to 0.02mm, resulting in a smooth printing appearance and smooth rotation of the run-in part.

The sports water cup was printed using Stratasys photosensitive resin, resulting in a smooth and beautiful finish with clearly visible logo details, giving it an authentic look similar to injection-molded parts.
